Who we are...

LAWS is a 501 (3)(C) non-profit organization staffed by dedicated volunteers working for the benefit of animals in Leavenworth County since 1991. We are entirely funded by donations.

Our primary goals:

  • Reducing pet overpopulation.

  • A home for every pet.

  • End to euthanasia of adoptable animals.

How do we do this?

LAWS outreach program offers FREE
spay/neuter for all cats and dogs of
Leavenworth County residents. Since the
start of our program in 2010, LAWS has
paid for over 20,000 spay/neuter procedures.
